141 – The "With Brian Austin Green" Live Show

This past weekend was a medley of Beverly Hills, 90210 friends and fandom! We were proud to be guests of the “With Brian Austin Green” live show fundraiser for Generosity.org, which included a podcast recording with cast members from the series at Torrance High School (the scene of the original West Beverly Hills High School), and a live performance by Color Me Badd. We also got to attend a VIP dinner and U4EA after-party the night before the show, and a lunch at the Peach Pit pop-up with our squad! Scroll down for just some of our favorite photos from throughout the weekend.

117 Our friend Eliza - Blind Spot

This week we’re joined by one of Kat’s oldest friends, who regrettably is brand new to Beverly Hills, 90210. But, with a Master’s degree in psychology and a lifetime of experience as a person who is blind, she offers some excellent insight into this episode. Donna is threatened as David develops an attraction to his piano tutor Holly, while Steve threatens the KEG President by outing him to the rest of the fraternity.

111 Dan Curry - Scared Very Straight

Dan Curry is more than just the husband of last week’s podcast guest Margot Leitman, he’s also the head writer for The Eric Andre Show, and the author of the novel Kung Fu Lesbian. Dan has a lot to say about his own Beverly Hills, 90210 journey, and we all learn a lot about drug busts discussing this episode. Stay tuned for Dan’s upcoming science & comedy podcast “Science in Exile!”

The deadline to submit your entry for our “Best Rap of the 20th Century” contest is Friday, April 7.

109 KXCU Presents: “Heartbreaker”

It’s 2am, Condors, and DJ David Silver can’t be in the studio tonight, so your gals Lizzie and Kat are stepping in to cover his graveyard radio shift. Calls come in from listeners April in Los Angeles, Lance in Montreal, Pallavi in New York, and Jess in Australia. This episode is an experiment into the electronic grid, so it’s a good thing we love to party!

107 Amy Jacobowitz - Crunch Time

Writer and fellow Law & Order: SVU obsessive Amy Jacobowitz is the guest on this week’s episode of The Blaze with Lizzie and Kat, and we’re almost as stressed as David Silver during finals. Almost. You can watch Modern/Love, the short film Amy wrote (directed by Lee Toland Krieger, and starring Robert Schwartzman and Naomi Scott) on YouTube.

We’re honored to interview a Beverly Hills, 90210 fan, comic book writer Marc Andreyko, whose latest comics anthology Love is Love benefits victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting and their families through Equality Florida.

066 Jensen Karp - The Back Story

Our guest this week on The Blaze with Lizzie and Kat podcast has so many projects, it’s hard to keep up! We’ll just say this about Jensen Karp: his shop Patti Lapel is selling some incredible Beverly Hills 90210 merch, he hosts the Get Up On This podcast, and his upcoming memoir is entitled “Kanye West Owes Me $300 & Other True Stories From A White Rapper Who Almost Made It Big.”

040 Pete Holmes - The Next Fifty Years

It’s here: the big one. We couldn’t think of anyone else to tackle one of the toughest and most memorable episodes of Beverly Hills 90210 than comedian and host of the You Made it Weird podcast, Pete Holmes. We talk about symmetrical faces, feeling like an outsider, and Brian Austin Green’s performance in the episode “The Next Fifty Years.” To find out what you can do to help prevent gun violence, visit http://www.bradycampaign.org/take-action.

Our live show is THIS Saturday, September 12, in Los Angeles. Tickets are available at tinyurl.com/blazeLIVE.
